Dr Ayodele Periola (M’ 85) received the B.Eng (Hons) Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Federal University of Technology, Akure. He received his MSc in Mobile and Satellite Communications from the University of South Wales. In addition, he completed his PhD in Electrical Engineering specializing in wireless radio networks from the University of Cape Town, South Africa. He is a lecturer in the Department of Electrical, Electronics and Computer Engineering at the Bells University of Technology, Otta, Nigeria. In addition, he is a research fellow in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering Technology at the University of Johannesburg. Currently, he researches the design of wireless networks, mobile communications, cloud computing systems, and the design of low-cost solutions for near-space and space applications. His research interests include the design of space and near-space communication systems in the context of 5G and beyond 5G. His research findings have been presented in International Conferences and Journal Articles.
