Dr Jacob Kehinde Opele is currently working at the National Centre for Technology Management (NACETEM), Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria.
He obtained his Masters and PhD in Information Resources Management with specialization in Knowledge Management from Babcock University, Ilishan-Remo, Nigeria. Dr Opele holds a Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in Technology Management, a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Economics and a National (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) in Health Information Management.
He is a Registered Member of the Nigerian Library Association (NLA) and Registered as a Health Information Management (HIM) Officer with the Health Records Officers Registration Board of Nigeria (HRORBN). Dr Opele is the current Head of the Library, National Centre for Technology Management (NACETEM), Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, Nigeria.
He is also the Regional Assistant Editor of Africa-International Federation of Health Information Management Association (IFHIMA), the Editor-in-Chief of Livingspring Journal of Library and Information Science (a publication of the Nigerian Library Association, Osun State Chapter) and a Reviewer to many Academic and Professional Journals in Library and Information Science.
