The Academy of Science of South Africa (ASSAf) will once again be visiting Wisane Old Age Home and Hospice on Friday, 17 July 2026. As Mandela Day coincides with National Science Month this year, we would like to celebrate both occasions with the residents and staff of Wisane, continuing the support and engagement we provided last year.
Last year’s donations made a meaningful impact. they were able to install ceilings in the reception area and three rooms. The management of the home expressed their sincere appreciation, noting that they seldom receive donations.
This year, they are once again appealing for donations to support the elderly residents of the home. Contributions of any kind will be greatly appreciated and will help improve the quality of life of the elderlys.
