Jeremie Zoueu is a Professor of Photonics at the National Polytechnic Institute Felix Houphouet Boigny in Yamoussoukro (Cote d’Ivoire).
He holds a PhD in Physics from Pierre & Marie Curie University in France in the field of lasers and photonic materials.
Prof Zoueu is also the Coordinator of the African Spectral Imaging Network (AFSIN). He is currently working on Developing an optical tool for rapid, sensitive and accurate diagnosis of malaria, malarial drug-target interactions, and malaria mosquito forecasting devices based on remote sensing spectroscopy in collaboration with colleagues from Lund University in Sweden.
Prof Zoueu has also Worked as a Research Professor at the College of Engineering of the Virginia Commonwealth University, US, for his sabbatical year.
