Brief Biography (English)
Dr Ponchang Apollos Wuyep currently works at the Department of Plant Science and Biotechnology, University of Jos. Ponchang does research in Mycology, Botany, and Biotechnology. They are ongoing project is 'Phylogenetic analysis of Agaricaceae family of the Basidiomycetes.' The current project is Infection and immunity in Drosophila melanogaster (Understanding which phytochemicals act as an antifungal agent in improving the survival of Drosophila challenged with virulent fungal pathogens).
