Dr Leul Kidane Woldemichael has a first degree in BSc Biology from Asmara University, Eritrea, an MSc degree in dryland Biodiversity and a PhD in Botanical sciences, plant ecology from Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia.
He has taught different biological courses at different high schools and colleges. Dr Woldemichael works at Mekelle University, Mekelle, Ethiopia. He advises MSc and PhD students under the graduate program while developing their proposals and performing their research studies.
Previously Dr Woldemichael's studies focussed on plant ecology, agrobiodiversity, medicinal plants, human forest interaction and biodiversity conservation at large. Therefore, his research interest is towards the above-mentioned field of studies.
