I am a solution-minded postdoctoral research scientist currently working at Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI) Wellcome Trust. I am also a data scientist with over 15 years of demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality research and data outputs that have influenced policymaking and program implementations locally and internationally. I have been relied on as a key technical advisor in driving global and regional research projects; gains in donor loyalty; and record-setting project implementations and evaluations. I am multitalented with diverse skills from health economics and evaluations, statistical and mathematical modeling, proposals and grant writing, health policy, and system research, teaching, and mentorship. My research interests cut-across infectious and non-communicable diseases. I am co-author to about 30 publications. My Ph.D. focused on socioeconomic health inequalities, costs, and effectiveness and equity impact of malaria control interventions in western Kenya. My MSc focused on modeling the effect of antimalaria stockouts on malaria-related childhood mortality in western Kenya. I work at KEMRI and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) in western Kenya. I previously worked at the African Population Research Center (APHRC) and International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI).
