Brief Biography (English)
Dr Alex Nelungo Wanjala is a senior lecturer at the Department of Literature and the Sub-Department of French at the University of Nairobi. Dr Wanjala graduated with a PhD in French and comparative literature from the University Sorbonne Nouvelle-Paris 3 in 2009. His areas of Specialisation include African literature in French and English expression, Postcolonial studies, Cultural studies and Gender studies. He is the regional editor, East Africa of the journal Tydskrif vir Letterkunde and is also the chairman of the East African Association for Commonwealth Literature and Language Studies (EAACLALS).
