Dr Lethukuthula N. Vilakazi is a Lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) and a registered Professional Engineering Technologist (Pr.Tech.Eng.). She holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering, with research focusing on thermofluid systems, computational fluid dynamics (CFD), power plant performance analysis, and machine learning applications for engineering systems. Her research interests include sustainable energy systems, artificial intelligence in engineering, and thermal system optimisation. In addition to her teaching and research responsibilities, she is actively involved in student mentorship, community engagement, and collaborative research initiatives aimed at advancing engineering education and innovation in South Africa.
