Brief Biography (English)

Dr Sampath Kumar Venkatachary is a Researcher and currently employed in Grant Thornton, Botswana. He has received his PhD from Amity University and has over 25+ years of experience in the field of engineering and technology, IT, and is certified CITRIX, VMware, CISCO, Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) technologies. He has been associated with Grant Thornton since 2017, and is currently actively researching on energy in Virtual Power Plants. His focus area is Renewable Energy, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Cyber Warfare, AI, and Virtual Power plants, and has authored many research papers in the field.

Experience:

Dr Venkatachary has vast experience in the field of Vmware and Microsoft technologies. He started his career on a small note and worked in India and Qatar before migrating to Botswana where he joined Botho University as a Network Administrator, and was later promoted to Technical Manager. His responsibilities included managing all IT infrastructures, IT, Electrical and Electronic devices. At Grant Thornton, he take care of all IT matters, and implementation of policies set by Grant Thornton International Limited (GTIL).

Dr Venkatachary has been actively involved in Infrastructure in the areas of Virtualization in Vmware and other similar platforms such as CITRIX, HyperV, Information security, to name a few.
