Dr Thembinkosi Twalo is the Chief Research Specialist at the Human Sciences Research Council (HSRC). His previous employment includes being the Head: Research and Policy Department at the Commission for Gender Equality (CGE), Acting CEO at Commission for Gender Equality (CGE), Research Manager at the Moses Kotane Institute (MKI), etc.
He holds a PhD in Education with the thesis titled ‘Appropriateness of municipal workers job behaviour and performance at the Buffalo City Metropolitan Municipality’. He studied at University of Fort Hare, Rhodes University, University of the Witwatersrand, Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University, and University of KwaZulu-Natal. He holds twenty-one peer reviewed publications and many non-peer reviewed publications.
