Brief Biography (English)
Dr Basil Tumaini is a physician, faculty and researcher at the Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences (MUHAS) in Dar es Salaam Tanzania. He holds Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Master of Medicine in Internal Medicine degrees both from Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences (MUHAS).
Dr Tumaini has conducted research on elderly patients admitted to the medical department of Muhimbili National Hospital and Jakaya Kikwete Cardiac Institute (JKCI), non-communicable diseases among individuals with HIV infection, and several other pieces of research. He is currently planning to super specialize in Neurology.
