Dr Tatsvarei is a senior lecturer in the Department of Agribusiness and Entrepreneurship, Marondera University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology. He has been with the University for the past six years. He holds a PhD in Agricultural Economics from Fort Hare University, a Masters in Agricultural and Applied Economics, a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) and a Bachelor of Agricultural Economics (Hons) degrees from the University of Zimbabwe. Dr Tatsvarei has published 13 academic peer-reviewed articles, a book chapter, and has presented 7 conference papers and posters. His areas of interest are land economics, value chains, and impact evaluations. Previously Dr Tatsvarei worked for the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe for seven years as an export manager in the Exchange Control Division and for two years as a senior economist in the Economics and Markets Division of the Ministry of Agriculture, Zimbabwe. He is a reviewer of the following journals: land use policy, agricultural education and extension, agriculture and food security, and Geojournal. Dr Tatsvarei is a chair to the Strategic Committee and is a member of the following University committees; Research Board, Collaborations and Partnership Committee, Students Disciplinary Committee, and Senate.
