Brief Biography (English)

Roelf Sandenbergh is a Professor at the Department of Materials Science and Metallurgical Engineering at the University of Pretoria. He is a Registered Professional Engineer. Prof Sandenbergh obtained his undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications from the University of Pretoria. His academic qualifications include the degrees  MEng (Chemical) (1975), BEng (Chemical) (1972) and DEng (Metallurgical) (1983).

In 2002 Prof Sandenbergh received the Honorary Life Fellowship of the South African Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, for his outstanding support and contribution to the Institute’s interests within the Pretoria Branch.
