Brief Biography (English)

Dr (Mrs.) Salisu Titilola Fausat (nee Adedayo) holds PhD., MSc, and BSc. in Cell Biology and Genetics from the Department of Cell Biology and Genetics, University of Lagos, Akoka, Nigeria. She is specialized in interdisciplinary areas cutting across Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biotechnology, Cardiovascular Diseases, Phytotherapy, and Environmental Biology. Her quest for harnessing the potentials in native plants was evident in her BSc. and MSc projects as well as a PhD thesis. She is currently focusing on sustainable development goals research (SDG 4 and 13) to save the planet. She served as the vice president of Millenium development goals community development services (MDG CDS) during her NYSC (National Youth Service Corps) in 2008 and emerged the” Best Corps Volunteer – Millennium Development Goals Advocacy Project” in Kebbi-state, Nigeria. She has made a quite number of scientific presentations and publications at scientific conferences locally and globally. She is happily married with three children. Dr. Salisu has always been very perseverance, dedicated, and hardworking when pursuing her goals even in the midst of challenges. Her future is bright and promising as she is very passionate about learning, focused, and ready to find positives around the difficulties to achieve her visions.
