Mrs Ekaterina Rzyankina is an experienced convenor/coordinator/lecturer in the field of mechanical/chemical engineering and trainer of qualitative research with ATLAS.ti. She also has five years of industry experience as a mechanical and chemical engineer. In her engineering lectures, she draws on my industry experience and uses innovative technologies to enrich the understanding of lecture material. This has had a positive impact on the students’ learning, according to the course evaluation. She teaches engineering concepts while offering practical examples that apply in the workplace. Dr Rzyankina firmly believes that she can support and enhance students' knowledge by using an inclusive pedagogical approach and technology. She believes that technology and short multimodal courses can improve or shift the traditional way of delivering knowledge while widening access to non-traditional, ‘previously disadvantaged students. Her dream is to enhance access to higher education through three lenses, socially, digitally and epistemologically.
