Dr Tarylee Reddy is a Specialist Statistician and Deputy Unit Director at the Biostatistics Unit of the South African Medical Research Council (SAMRC). She holds a BSc degree in Actuarial Science (2008), a BSc Honours (2009) and Masters in Statistics (2011) from the University of KwaZulu Natal, South Africa and a PhD in Statistics (2017) from the University of Hasselt in Belgium. She has a total of twelve years experience in the analysis of clinical trials and surveys and has more than 90 peer reviewed publications to date. In her current position at the South African Medical Research Council (SAMRC) she serves as co-investigator and lead statistician on several COVID-19, HIV/AIDS and Tuberculosis studies, and has contributed to several publications. Her research interests include the design and analysis of clinical trials, complex surveys as well as the analysis of longitudinal data.
