Dr Ateeq Rahman currently works at the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, University of Namibia. His research is in the area of Nanotechnology and Green Chemistry Catalysis. He is currently involved in a project on wastewater treatment, nanoparticles, nano activated carbon, hydrotalcite, mixed oxides, nano-catalysis, silica, titania for multicomponent reactions, and polymer chemistry. He published 49 articles in internationally reputable journals and presented 24 papers in international and national conferences. He has supervised three masters students, one PhD student, and 12 undergraduate students. He was an invited speaker at Osmania University for India Material Conference in January 2020. He is an external and internal moderator for postgraduate and PhD thesis. Dr Rahman is also a reviewer for international reputable journals published with Elsevier, Taylor & Francis, Wiley, and ACS.
