Brief Biography (English)
Dr Moagabo Natalie Ragoasha is a recent PhD holder in Physical Oceanography. Her research focused on the Lagrangian pathways in the Southern Benguela upwelling system and how they are linked to ocean circulation. They use a high resolution (3 km) regional model and a Lagrangian tracking tool. She is currently doing a postdoc with SAEON, Egagasini Node in Cape Town. She is holding an NRF Innovation postdoc grant and will be continuing with ocean modeling with the focus on the topographical effects on the local current and the cross-shore transport of biota.
Dr Ragoasha is also a lecturer at the University of Cape Town and a visiting lecturer at Rhodes University.
