Brief Biography (English)

Dr Radingoana holds a PhD in Environmental and Water Sciences from the University of the Western Cape and is currently based as a senior lecturer at the University of South Africa. She is skilled in Food Security, Rural Community Development, Lecturing and Greywater reuse. She focused her PhD on assessing how greywater reuse can affect the health and nutritional quality of produce if used for agricultural activities. The project was aimed at addressing the 1st and 2nd Sustainable Development Goals of the UN while also sorting to consider the viability of greywater in arid and semi-arid regions as a potential freshwater substitute in agriculture.

Dr Radingoana has successfully supervised 17 honors students, attended without presentation: a Food security and safety 2016 conference hosted by University of Johannesburg, Society of South African Georgraphers (SSAG) students' conference 2018 hosted by University of the Free State, attended with presentations: an Ajman International Conference on Environment 2018, hosted by Ajman University (United Arab Emirates), SSAG students' conference 2017 hosted by University of Mpumalanga, and University of Limpopo Faculty of Science and Agriculture -Research Days 2016 & 2017.

She has further served as a reviewer for various journals such as African Scientific, Science of the Total Environment, Remote Sensing and Applications, South African Geographical Journal to name a few. She also served as a member of the technical team that reviewed abstracts for the WaterNet Symposium that was held in Namibia in 2018. Furthermore, she has strong teaching and learning, research and presentation skills. She is professionally registered as a scientist with Society of South African Geographers (SSAG) and South African Council for Natural Scientific Professions (SACNASP). Dr Radingoana has published various articles in accredited journals.
