Dr. Piwuna was born in Jos, North-Central Nigeria. Attended the University of Jos, Nigeria, University of Malta and has a fellowship of the West African college of physicians. Member of the International Psychogeriatric Association. Consultant psychiatrist at Jo's university teaching hospital and senior lecturer at the University of Jos, Nigeria. Head of the psychogeriatric unit. He has special interest in quality of life in older adults with several articles in peered review journals. Married with 3 kids.
