Dr Carren Pindiriri is a citizen of Zimbabwe and a Senior Lecturer/Researcher at the University of Zimbabwe. As a Lecturer, he Teaches Econometrics, Mathematics, Microeconomics, Environmental and Development Economics. Before joining the University of Zimbabwe (UZ), Dr Pindiriri briefly worked for the Infrastructure Development Bank of Zimbabwe as a Business Development Officer. He holds a PhD in Economics (UZ), an MSc, and a BSc in Economics (UZ) and an MPhil in Environmental Economics (UIO). Dr Pindiriri specializes in Applied Econometrics. His Research interests are development economics, rural development, agriculture, and food security, social economics, impact evaluations, environmental and land economics. Dr Pindiriri has Published several Journal Articles in both local and international Journals in the areas of poverty, rural development, and agricultural economics, among others.
