Brief Biography (English)

Dr Esther Phiri is a University of Malawi Lecturer in the Electrical Engineering Department. She has experience in teaching, curriculum development, research and consultancy. Her areas of expertise include Electrical Machines, Electrical Powers Systems, Energy Auditing and Management, and Renewable Energy Systems. She obtained her PhD in Renewable Energy Systems from Loughborough University (2017), MSc degree in Energy Studies (2010) from the University of Otago in New Zealand and BSc degree in Electrical Engineering (2002) from the University of Malawi, in Malawi.
