Professor Clorinda Panebianco is an associate professor in the School of the Arts: Music, at the University of Pretoria. After completing her DMus in musicology at the University of Pretoria in 2001, she attained an MA in Psychology for Musicians at the University of Sheffield, United Kingdom, in 2013, and she is currently pursuing research in this field. Prof Panebianco lectures undergraduate courses in occupational health and wellbeing for musicians, music psychology, and music philosophy at the University of Pretoria. Aside from academic and supervision activities, her research focuses on health and well-being issues in professional and amateur performing artists, and, optimal performance.
