Prof Martin E. Palamuleni is currently Teaching demography at North-West University in South Africa. He holds a BSc in Statistics and Computer Science from the University of Malawi and MSc and PhD in Demography from the London School of Economics and Political Science, University of London, UK.
Prof Palamuleni has Taught various courses in demography/population studies at undergraduate and postgraduate levels at the University of Malawi and the North-West University in South Africa. He has Supervised postgraduate students and served as External Examiner in some universities in Southern Africa.
Prof Palamuleni's research interests include demographic analysis, demographic transition in Africa as well as Reproductive Health issues, especially Adolescent Reproductive Health. He is a Founding Member of the Family Planning Association of Malawi (FPAM) an organization affiliated to the International Planned Parenthood Association (IPPF).
