Dr Adedayo Omowumi Oyedele is a Research Fellow I (Soil Microbiology) at the Institute of Agricultural Research and Training, Moor Plantation. She holds a BSc Microbiology from Obafemi Awolowo University, MSc Microbiology from the University of Ibadan, and PhD in Environmental Microbiology (University of Ibadan), with a focus on use of Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria as Biofertilizers in Agricultural systems. Dr Oyedele holds a Certificate in scientific publishing and communications from the Training Center in Communication, University of Nairobi and has undergone a mentorship programme by African Women in Agricultural Research and Development (AWARD) for Fellows' mentees (2012/2013). She is a recipient of the Nuffic scholarship by the Netherlands Government for short courses (2013 & 2016) and a collaborative research grant by the International Foundation for Science carried out in Nigeria, Tanzania and Burkina Faso where she was the team leader. Dr Oyedele has over 25 articles in both local and international journals and has attended various conferences and scientific workshops. She is a member of the Nigerian Soil Science Society, American society of Microbiology, International Foundation for Science Nigeria Alumni Association and Organisation for Women in Science in Developing World (OWSD).
