Brief Biography (English)
Dr Dickson Odhiambo Owuor's current research area is in the realm of frequent pattern mining; especially, gradual pattern mining. They aim at introducing new types of gradual patterns and improve the computational efficiency of gradual pattern mining techniques by optimising them using a heuristic approach. His other research interests include designing Internet of Things, analysis of Big Data and algorithm optimisation. He also hold the position of doctoral fellow at Strathmore University and he is also an active member of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and European Society for Fuzzy Logic and Technology (EUSFLAT).
