Pearl Asieduwaa Osei is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Mines and Technology (UMaT), Department of Mathematical Sciences, Tarkwa, Ghana. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Pure Mathematics from the University for Development Studies (UDS), Ghana. She obtained her master’s degree in mathematical sciences from the African Institute of Mathematical Sciences (AIMS-Ghana) and a Master of Philosophy in Applied Mathematics from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Ghana. Her research interest includes applications of artificial intelligence in mineral processing, optimisation, and functional analysis
