Brief Biography (English)
Dr Douglas Onyancha is a lecture at Dedan Kimathi University of Technology, Kenya. He holds a PhD in Chemistry from Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University, South Africa and an MSC in Chemistry from Egerton University, Kenya. He also holds a Postdoc from Stellenbosch University, South Africa. He is actively involved in research and supervision and postgraduare students. His main interest is in organometallic chemistry. He has made number of publications over the years. Current research is on ferrocenyl imidazolium complexes and their application in catalysis. Previous work on the same field has been synthesis and charactrization of ferrocenyl iimidazolium compound.
