Brief Biography (English)
Mr Uche Onwuegbuchulem was born in Owerri, South-eastern Nigeria in 1982. He holds a master’s degree in Structural Engineering from the University of Manchester, Uk, and first degrees in Building and Chemical Engineering from Imo State University and the Federal University of Technology Owerri, Nigeria respectively. Prior to joining the Federal University of Technology (FUTO) as a Lecturer in 2012, he worked for years as an Oilfield Asset Integrity consultant providing technical field support to several IOCs and indigenous oil producers. He is a chartered and COREN registered Structural Engineer. Uche’s research interest is in the areas of Structures are Fire Engineering and analytical, and inite element evaluation of bending of plates.
