Dr Collins Oduor Ondiek is an assistant Professor, Information systems at the United States International University Africa (USIU) with good teaching and research experience. Design Thinking is one key strengths of Collins. He also have a vast experience in the fields of ICT Consultancies and Teaching, lifelong learning, and ICT integration in Education Programs, Dr Ondiek has key resource person and consultant for ICT integration champion for Accelerated 21st Century Education (ACE) ICT integration in Education Pilot Project and School Based Teacher Support Systems (SBTSS)-World Bank Project for Ministry of Education, Kenya. Recently he was a speaker and panelist at the Academia roundtable “New teaching approaches for higher learning institutions in the digital era” organised by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) in Geneva April 2019, he has also participated in the Inter University Council of East Africa (IUCEA) Staff mobility programme as external examiner 2015 & 2018 and Third United Nations Environmental Assembly (UNEA) general assembly as delegate and, he has supervised twelve masters students thesis/projects, participated in various curricula development for so many universities in the region. In addition to the membership in professional bodies, Dr Oduor has also done four book chapter publications and presented at least fifteen papers in referred journals plus additional international conferences on ICT for development. He is also a review editor of papers in the International Journal of research publications. He is now keen on Consultancies, Community Service and research areas covering more on ICT integration and training in Education, Health, Agriculture and Citizen Science linkages and disruptive technologies.
