Dr Bukola Rukayat Omotoso is a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, Durban, South Africa (UKZN), where she completed her PhD in Clinical Anatomy. She obtained a Bachelor of Technology (B Tech) and a Master of Science (MSc) in Anatomy from the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomosho and Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria, respectively. She is actively involved in collaborative research in clinical anatomy, vascular anatomy, neuroanatomy, morphology, anatomical variation, microscopic anatomy, and anatomical education. The aim is to contribute to translational research to enhance human health and well-being through interdisciplinary research in basic clinical and biomedical sciences. Dr Omotoso is an active member of the American Association of Anatomy (AAA) and the Anatomical Society of Southern Africa (ASSA).
