Brief Biography (English)
Dr Funmilola Omotayo obtained master and doctorate degrees in Information Science from the University of Ibadan and a master of business administration degree from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, Nigeria. She worked in the banking industry for fourteen years, rising to the position of Operations Manager. She is currently a lecturer and researcher at the Africa Regional Centre for Information Science, University of Ibadan, Nigeria. Her teaching/research interests include Information and Communication Technology (ICT) for development, information policy, information behavior, social informatics, knowledge management, and information marketing. She has published many papers in local and international journals.
