Brief Biography (English)
Dr Oluwadara Pelumi Omotayo is currently a research fellow at the North-West University South Africa where she obtained her PhD and MSc in Biological Sciences. Prior to that she completed her BTech at the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology in Nigeria where she studied Human Anatomy.
Her research interests are in Metabolomics, Metagenomics, Food Safety, Mycotoxins and Microbiology. Dr Omotayo has an interest in studying natural products-medicinal plants and understanding their safety as well as interactions with the body system.
Her passion is to conduct research that will provide basic and vital information to communities, the general public and policymakers.
