Brief Biography (English)

Dr Jamiu Oyewole Omirinde was born and raised in Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria. His academic degrees were accomplished at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria.

He is a Lecturer at the Department of Veterinary Anatomy at the University of Jos in Nigeria. His research interests include Vertebrate morphology (murine, farm and wild animals), reproductive biology and aquatic toxicology.

Dr Omirinde has Expertise in immunohistochemistry, electron-microscopy, antioxidants assay profiling and Western blot.

He is a Member of the following learned/professional societies; Nigerian Society of Experimental Biology, International Network of Young Researchers in Male Fertility and the Nigerian Veterinary Medical Association.

Je suis maître de conférences au département d'anatomie vétérinaire de l'université de Jos et j'ai moins de dix ans d'expérience dans l'enseignement.

Mes recherches portent sur la morphologie des vertébrés (animaux murins et sauvages), la biologie de la reproduction et la toxicologie aquatique.

Je suis membre des sociétés savantes/professionnelles suivantes : la société nigériane de biologie expérimentale, le réseau international des jeunes chercheurs en fertilité masculine et l'association nigériane de médecine vétérinaire.
