Professor Dr Khaled Abd Ellah Mahmoud Omar obtained my BSc (Geology) from the Assist University and his PhD (Geology) from Sohag University. He works for the National Research Institute of Astronomy and Geophysics (Helwan). His PhD research was based on Characteristics of the Nile Delta basin structure and its implication on seismic effects, Egypt." Sohag University, Sohag, Egypt, in 2010 in Geophysics. He is currently a professor of Seismology National Research Institute of Astronomy and Geophysics (Helwan). His area of interest are Microtremors Observation, site effect evaluation, Microzonation Mapping, Focal mechanism determination, Moment Tensor inversion, Earthquakes Source Parameters calculations. He has published various papers in peer-reviewed journals.
