Dr Oluwole Olutola is a postdoctoral research fellow with the SARChI African Diplomacy and Foreign Policy, University of Johannesburg. He holds a PhD in Political Studies from the North-West University, South Africa, with a thesis titled ‘Political Anatomy of South Africa’s Climate Change Policy’. Earlier, he had obtained MSc (Political Science), MIR (International Relations), and BSc (Politics, Philosophy, Economics) from Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria. His experience spans key roles in different Federal Ministries within the Nigerian government public sector as a senior administrative careerist. Olutola has published widely in the field of climate change, environmental politics, and low carbon technologies, with a particular focus on South Africa and the rest of Africa. He is a full member of the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs (NIIA), International Political Science Association (IPSA), and University Association of Contemporary European Studies (UACES).
