Dr Olujide Oludayo Olubiyi holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from the Obafemi Awolowo University in Nigeria, an MSc in Drug Discovery Degree from the School of Pharmacy at University College London in the United Kingdom, and a PhD in the area of Computational Drug Design from RWTH Aachen University in Aachen, Germany. He work as a drug discovery researcher and as a lecturer. He also volunteer as a community pharmacist. His research interests centre around the discovery and development of small molecules drugs and especially in the lead discovery phase of the development pipeline where he employ a combination of computer-aided drug discovery protocols, medicinal chemistry and experimental validation in identifying new lead compounds. Dr Olubiyi has worked on different projects mostly in active collaboration with researchers from different backgrounds.
