Peter Olapegba is a Professor of Social/Health Psychology at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons.) in Psychology, Master of Science in Social/Personality Psychology and PhD in Social Psychology, he has published extensively in peer-review journals in addition to chapters in books and conference proceedings. Peter was a Visiting Lecturer to Adekunle Ajasin University, Nigeria, and a Postdoctoral Fellow at the North-West University (Mfg. Campus), Mmabatho, South Africa. He is a recipient of the ICP/Change Fellowship Research Grant (2011) – Jacobson Foundation, Canada, and University of Ibadan Senate Research Grant. Peter is a Fellow of the Nigerian Psychological Association (NPA) and Member, America Psychological Association (APA), International Association of Applied Psychology (IAAP), Society for Personality and Social Psychology (SPSP) among others. As an active member of the research community, Peter is on the Editorial Board of a number of academic journals within and outside Africa and External Examiner to the University of Fort Hare, South Africa, University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, University of Lagos, Nigeria etc. Peter has quite an impressive administrative experience within the University System, he has been Sub Dean (Postgrad.), Member of Senate, Dean, Faculty of the Social sciences, Director, Office of Alumni Relations, and Deputy Vice Chancellor (Administration), University of Ibadan.
