Dr Dominic Ayegba Okoliko's early career researcher and postdoctoral fellow at the School of Public Leadership at Stellenbosch University. He has a multidisciplinary background in the arts (philosophy) and social sciences (international relations, political science, and public and development management). His research interests include climate change governance, climate change communication, public awareness and sustainability, energy democracy and African perspectives. His publications have appeared in the Journal of Media Ethics, Journal of Public Affairs, and the African Journal of Governance and Development, among others. His current research focuses on the intersection of public awareness, communication, and energy transformation. His work draws on multiple perspectives, consistent with his multidisciplinary academic background. Has worked in the humanitarian sector where he led a human rights organization in eastern Nigeria. This German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and Graduate School of Economic and Management Sciences (GEM) graduate also enjoys the arts, poetry and sharing commentary on critical socio-political issues.
