Prof Wilson Truman Okaka is a Research Communication Lecturer at Kyambogo University in Kampala, Uganda. He is a Ugandan Research and Communication Professional with interests in Climate Change and Gender Equality Policy Advocacy. Prof Okaka was trained in Uganda, the UK, Italy, Sweden, and the USA. He has Presented hundreds of Papers, Published Books, Chapters, Articles, Edited peer-reviewed Journals, and Reviewed Journals. Prof Okaka was an International Volunteer at Voluntary Service Overseas in Asia, a World Bank Short Term Consultant as well as a SIDA/SAREC, VICRES, AICAD, and JICA Researcher. He Taught Georgetown University's special TOEFL course at the African Virtual University (Kyambogo Campus). The UNECA - ACPC website lists his profile under Climate Change Expert Profile, with Expertise on Climate Information Services, Climate Justice, Climate Policy and Good Governance, Climate Research, and Communication. Prof Okaka is a Pioneer Volunteer Director of a Nascent Solutions Ugandan national initiative, of eight gender-equal academic men and women equality CSO called Gender Equality and Climate Change Advocacy Centre in Kampala.
