Dr Vincent Ojeh holds a BSc Honours and MSc degrees in Geography and Regional Planning from Delta State University, Abraka, Nigeria, in 2004 and 2011 with specialisation in Climatology under the Federal and Delta State Government Scholarships, respectively. He also holds a PhD in Meteorology and Climate Science of the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA), Nigeria, in collaboration with the University of Augsburg, Germany, the West African Science Service Centre on Climate Change and Adapted Landuse (WASCAL) lead University under the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) full Scholarship. He is the second Nigerian recipient of the West African Science Service Centre on Climate Change and Adapted Landuse (WASCAL) PhD Scholarship, a Climate Change Initiative in West Africa. Dr Ojeh is a member of the International Association of Urban Climate (IAUC), Association of Nigerian Geographers (ANG), the African Group of Negotiators Expert Support (AGNES), a continental think tank that provides technical support to the African Climate Negotiators Group. He is also a research fellow at the Africa Research and Impact Network (ARIN), the current Alumni President of West African Science Service Centre on Climate Change and Adapted Landuse (WASCAL) located in 12 West African countries and the current Taraba State Chapter Coordinator of the Association of Nigerian Geographers (ANG). He is currently a lecturer in the Department of Geography, Taraba State University, Jalingo, Nigeria. In 2021, he co-authored “The International Politics of Climate Change” in addition to one edited book, contributions in 11 edited/chaptered books and 42 journal articles in peer-reviewed international and local Journals. Prof Ojeh is a leadership and public speaking coach and has served as a panellist in many scientific forums.
