Dr Babatunde Ogundare is an Associate Professor in the department of Mathematics of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife in Nigeria. He joined the services of the Obafemi Awolowo University in October, 1999 as Graduate Assistant and rose to become an Associate Professor in 2015. Between March 2006 and May 2010, he was away to the Republic of South Africa for his doctoral degree in Mathematics at the University of Fort Hare, South Africa.
His field of specialisation is qualitative and quantitative properties of solutions of differential equations. For over two decades he's been actively providing condition and criteria to guarantee stability, boundedness and periodicity of solution to classes of ordinary differential equations of order two to order five. The Lyapunov second method had been used extensively in the bulk of the research on qualitative properties of solution.
