Mr Adeshina Odugbemi is a dedicated researcher pursuing a PhD in Bioinformatics at the South African National Bioinformatics Institute, University of the Western Cape. His research focuses on computational drug discovery, using machine learning, QSAR, and computational chemistry techniques to identify and develop potential therapeutic compounds. He has vast experience in using cutting-edge computational tools such as Schrödinger Suites, PyTorch Geometric, Data Warrior, and RDKit, making significant contributions to the field of computational drug discovery. He is also working on deep learning approaches to develop predictive models for cancer drug response, further enhancing his contribution to precision medicine.

Mr Odugbemi holds a Master's degree in Biochemistry from the University of Lagos and a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from Lagos State University. He has authored many peer-reviewed articles in high-impact journals, with notable contributions to antidiabetic drug discovery and the identification of bioactive compounds with therapeutic potential. Additionally, he was actively involved in teaching and mentoring undergraduate students at Bowen University, Nigeria, where he has also held some leadership roles.
