Prof Beneah Daniel Onyango Odhiambo Teaches and Researches Environmental Biogeochemistry (heavy metal analyses in hydrological, geological, geochemical, and biological materials with an emphasis on geomedical and toxicological implications) as well as Exploration of Economic Mineral Deposits, using aerial photographs and Satellite Imagery.
He Develops curricula in his field of expertise. Prof Odhiambo also Teaches undergraduates and graduate students, Supervises honors, masters’ and PhD students, as well as Mentoring postdoctoral fellows.
His areas of expertise are in the geosciences, particularly in the use of remote sensing and GIS techniques in the geobotanical and biogeochemical assessment of Natural Resources; including geological, geomorphological surveys, and mapping, Climate Change, Land Capability Studies, Vegetation Mapping, and Animal Habitat Mapping.
