Brief Biography (English)
- Odega Kevin is a young ardent, and prolific scientist with lots of potentials in research, learning and acquiring new skills. Also, have a flair for teaching. He currently has core interest in molecular cytology and genomics. Odega is willing to collaborate in the area of training, scientific article writing, and exchange of knowledge. He has always been passionate about working in the laboratory and acquiring new skills. As an Assitant Director Biomedical scientist-in-charge of the cytology, and immunohistochemistry unit, he carries out routine diagnostic, therapeutic, and prognostic tests on all cancer confirmed diagnosis, hence He has come to understand the need for specialized training and exposure to the latest and cut-edge technology in the area of Biomedical science with relevant certifications and exposure to international best practice. His exposure to Quality System Management and being the Quality manager of the Histopathology and Morbid Anatomy laboratory of his institution is also a plus. He has a PhD in Histopathology and Cytopathology from the University of Benin. He has attended lots of training both within and abroad in trending molecular pathological diagnostic techniques and would want to gather more experience in a sophisticated high tech lab where he will be exposed to research in cancer diagnosis and molecular pathology while on my academic quest, a flair for impacting àknowledge, He also has 15 research items in reputable international peer-reviewed journals and preprints.
