Prof.Oghenerhoro Odedede is a recipient of the Federal Government of Nigeria postgraduate scholarship award in 2002, his research interest focuses on reservoir heterogeneity, formation evaluation, diagenetic studies, provenance, sequence stratigraphy, and paleo-environmental reconstruction of Cretaceous-Tertiary sediments. He supervised many undergraduate and postgraduate students. Prof.Odedede has held several administrative positions at the Delta State University, Abraka, Nigeria; Associate Dean (Students') from 2015 to March 2020, Overseers of the Students Affairs Division from 31st May 2016 to 16th June 2019, Liaison Officer, Association of African Universities, Accra, Ghana/ Delta State University, Abraka from September 2018 till date. Member of the University Senate from 2015 to October 2019 and a permanent member from October 2019 to date and Director, Centre for Research and International Programmes from November 2019 to March 2020. He has published several geoscience research in high scholarly journals and is a registered member of the Nigerian Mining and geosciences Society (NMGS) and NAPE.
