Mr Daniel Chinoso Ochor the youngest son of Mr and Mrs Benneth Okechukwu Ochor, hails from the distinguished Umu-Igwe Okpor family in Ogbidi community, situated in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area of Rivers State, Nigeria. His journey reflects a steadfast commitment to academic excellence and a passion for human kinetics and sports psychology, fields in which he has made significant strides.
His early education began at Rejoice Angels Army Command Nursery and Primary School, where he laid the foundation for his academic pursuits. Seeking further growth, he transferred to Community Primary School, Ogbidi, completing his primary education in 2004 with remarkable distinction. His formative years in school shaped his disciplined approach to learning and instilled values of perseverance and determination that have guided him throughout his life.
For his secondary education, Daniel attended Community Secondary School, Obigwe, where he further distinguished himself academically. In 2010, he successfully sat for the West African Examination Council (WAEC) examinations, a milestone that marked the beginning of his journey into higher education and professional development.
Driven by an unyielding passion for academics and a keen interest in sports and physical well-being, he gained admission to the prestigious University of Port Harcourt. There, he pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Kinetics, a program he completed with exceptional distinction, graduating with a first-class honor. Building on his undergraduate success, Mr Ochor continued his academic journey at the University of Port Harcourt, where he earned a Master’s degree in Sports Psychology. Currently, Mr Ochor is a PhD candidate in the Department of Sport and Exercise Science at the University of Port Harcourt.
