Professor of Analytical and Food Chemistry and Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC). Involved in teaching both undergraduate and graduate courses in analytical and organic chemistry; supervising graduate research projects; and consulting in educational and leadership areas. Several masters of science and doctor of philosophy students have graduated while several more are currently undertaking their projects. Actively involved in program development and review of the curriculum; having successfully developed three programs and currently developing two new programs in the Department of Chemistry, Kenyatta University. Carrying out consultancy service on the measurement of physical and chemical properties of pesticide control products for registration purposes.
