Dr Nyalunga is a passionate Nuclear Scientist with 5 years’ experience in nuclear science and technology. She holds a PhD in Nuclear Engineering and has been training as a Nuclear Specialists for a year, also has a sound theoretical background in Nuclear Engineering, with content that includes Reactor Analysis, Reactor Engineering, and Reactor Safety. Dr Nyalunga has intensive research capabilities that have been proven through her thesis and publications, with scientific contributions towards Sensitivity and Uncertainty (SA) Analysis in the modeling of Light Water Reactors. She has experience in computational methods development obtained through the SA analysis project involving neutron transport and reactor analysis codes such as MCNP, SCALE, etc. She always applies her research capability and his nuclear safety principle in her current Specialist role for the review and assessment of technical documents to ensure that nuclear safety aspects in nuclear facilities are achieved.
